Gitisha is a certified Pilates Instructor through Physical Mind Institute. She works as a Geographical Information Specialist for a Cultural Resource firm in Atlanta.
Pilates is a body conditioning exercise that improves muscle tone, builds flexibility and muscle strength, as well as increases endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back.
It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance.
It supports correct posture and teaches us to move with ease and grace.
The Pilates system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginning to advanced.
GG Pilates offers private (solo) Reformer/Tower lessons at her home studio. Each session is 50 mins.
Please wear comfortable exercise clothing, keeping in mind there are many movements that could cause loose shirts or shorts to drift up. Grip socks are recommended. We encourage you to bring your own towel and water bottle. Equipment is wiped down and disinfected before and after each session.
